CrushOn AI App: Features, Limits, and What the Tiers Actually Unlock
Most write-ups of CrushOn AI lead with the free tier's 100 message credits and call that the limit.
That is the wrong number.
Every tier, free included, carries unlimited access to Free Models. Credits are what you spend to reach the Pro and Ultra models.
Everything below was checked against the live product and CrushOn's own documentation on 12 August 2026. Where a number is not published, this says so.
There is no CrushOn app in either store
On Android you install a raw APK. CrushOn links the file directly from its own CDN and its wiki tells you to sideload it manually.
On iOS there is no binary at all. CrushOn's official wiki FAQ tells iPhone users to add the site to the home screen, which makes it a progressive web app rather than a download.
CrushOn's own documentation contradicts itself here. The same FAQ carries cancellation steps for App Store and Google Play subscriptions, and its gifting section says gifts are "not yet" available on those store versions.
So store builds are referenced elsewhere while the app answer names only the APK and the shortcut. Treat the install guidance as current and the store references as stale.
The operator, for the record, is TECHIEPIE LTD, registered in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The free tier is not capped by message count
The free plan lists 100 message credits per month. It also lists unlimited access to Free Models, and that line appears identically on all six plans.
Credits are a currency for the better models, not a chat allowance. Pro models consume credits on the free tier. Ultra models are locked out of it completely.
So a free user can chat indefinitely, as long as they stay on a free model and accept what comes with it.
What actually constrains the free tier
Four limits do the real damage, and none of them is the credit number.
Replies are capped at 225 characters
The free plan caps AI message length at 225 characters and does not let you adjust it. Paid tiers raise the ceiling to 275, 325, 450, 550, and 650 characters as you climb.
Standard and Premium still lock the setting. Luxe and above let you adjust it yourself.
Memory stops at 8K
Free accounts run 8K memory models and keep 200 historical messages per character.
The first three paid tiers unlock 16K memory. Only the top two reach 24K. Historical retention runs from 300 messages on Standard to 1,500 on the most expensive plan.
Your history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity
This is the one to watch. On the free plan, chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity. On every paid plan it is kept for the length of the membership.
A long roleplay you return to fortnightly does not survive on a free account.
One conversation per character at a time
Free allows a single concurrent chat per character, against 3, 5, 10, 15, and 30 as the tiers climb. Free accounts also sit on shared chat capacity, which CrushOn says may slow responses at peak times, while paid accounts get dedicated capacity.
Group chat is unavailable on free, along with the Ultra model class. You get 50 recent chats, 10 profile cards, and 20 inspiration replies a day.
Voice is the surprise inclusion. Voice messages, unlimited AI voice replies, and one custom voice slot all sit on the free plan.
What the paid tiers cost
Five paid tiers are live, not the three most write-ups list. A sixth, Deluxe, is marked retired on the pricing page.
Billed monthly: Standard $5.99, Premium $14.99, Luxe $39.99, Elite $89.99, Imperial $199.99.
Billed annually: $58.88, $94.88, $299.99, $799.99, and $1,799.99. That works out at $4.90, $7.90, $25.00, $66.70, and $150.00 a month.
The annual discount is steepest on Premium at 47%, then Luxe at 37%. Standard, Elite, and Imperial all sit around 25%.
Premium's monthly $14.99 is marked down from $19.99, so treat it as a promotion.
Credit allowances climb hard: 2,000, 6,000, 20,000, 55,000, and 125,000 a month.
Beyond price, upgrading buys history retention, bigger memory, group chat from Standard upward, and a 5% to 25% discount on extra credits.
Luxe carries the Most Popular flag. Elite and Imperial are the only plans with 24K memory, and their annual rates aim at a very narrow audience.
Model choice is the actual product
CrushOn sorts models into three classes: Free, Pro, and Ultra. The naming is literal, so anything prefixed Ultra sits in that class.
The in-house roster includes Crushon Leo, Taurus, Mochi, Mochi V2, and Sagittarius, which CrushOn describes as its unfiltered roleplay models.
The Ultra class is where third-party frontier models appear.
As of CrushOn's model list, last edited 26 June 2026, that includes Claude Opus 4.5 and 4.6, Claude 4.5 Sonnet, Claude 4 Sonnet, Gemini 3.0 Pro, Gemini 3 Flash, GPT 5, GPT 4.1, Kimi K2, and Deepseek R1.
Watch the prefix rather than the brand. GLM 4.6, Gemini 2.5 Flash, and GPT 4o Mini sit on that list without it.
Ultra is the reason to pay, and it is entirely absent from the free tier.
What an Ultra message costs, and what is not published
The mechanic is documented. Ultra messages consume several credits each rather than one, and the 16K variant costs roughly 1.5 to 1.75 times its 8K version.
The numbers are not current. CrushOn's Ultra model limits page was last edited on 27 May 2025 and prices models that have since gone offline, at 3 to 12 credits for 8K versions and 5 to 21 for 16K.
Per-message costs for the current Ultra roster are not published anywhere reachable without an account. Check the figure in the model picker before you commit a month of credits to one model.
Coins, diamonds, and the Chat Package
Two virtual currencies run alongside credits, and they are not interchangeable.
Coins come from daily logins, creating characters, and referrals. They redeem one for one into bonus messages, which sit outside your subscription limits. Each AI reply costs 2 messages.
Diamonds are for gifting creators and become creator income. They are non-refundable, and CrushOn says creator withdrawals are still a future update.
The Chat Package is the unlimited option. It is a one-time purchase unlocking unlimited chat on Pro models only, and it requires an active membership rather than replacing one.
It runs $39.99 a month, or $299.99 a year which is $24.99 a month. Durations stack, and it is non-refundable once activated.
The content rules are stricter than the branding suggests
CrushOn is 18+ and does not hide what it is. The interface carries an Unfiltered toggle, and the tag taxonomy flags dozens of categories as unfiltered.
Text roleplay matches that positioning. Images do not.
The community guidelines ask users to avoid depicting explicit sexual activity in imagery, permitting implied activity where contextually appropriate. Avatars, usernames, and bios are held to a stricter standard again and must carry no sexual content at all.
Three prohibitions are absolute. No characters who are minors or whose age is not clearly over 18, including aged-up versions of characters first depicted as minors. No non-consensual intimate imagery. And no real or photorealistic images of any individual.
That third one is stated twice, in the guidelines and again in the FAQ, which names celebrities, politicians, and "people you know".
Generating sexual imagery of a real person who never consented is illegal in a growing number of jurisdictions, and it ends the account here regardless of local law. Synthetic characters are what the platform is for.
One privacy note worth having: CrushOn says chats and characters stay private unless you publish them, and that character cards are not reviewed by moderation. Deleted accounts are recoverable for 3 days only.
Who it fits
CrushOn suits someone who wants frontier models doing unfiltered text roleplay and will pay for memory and history rather than for a message count.
The free tier is a genuine trial rather than a teaser, provided you chat often enough to beat the 7-day history wipe and can live inside 225-character replies.
It fits poorly if you wanted an App Store download, or if your interest is image generation, where the rules tighten sharply.
