Fanvue AI: What the AI Label Means for Fans and Creators

Fanvue AI is a verified account category. Creators choose Real or AI when the account is created and pass the same identity checks either way; what fans get is a bio tag plus a disclosure icon they can see before they pay.

That single choice controls verification, disclosure, refunds, and how many accounts one person can run.

What the AI tag shows on a profile, and what it hides

We opened a public AI creator profile signed out on 29 August 2026. It renders an inline icon labelled "AI generated or enhanced," and the page's own data marks the account is_ai_creator: true and is_sfw_creator: true.

Fanvue's help centre article "How do I know if a creator is AI?," updated early August 2026, defines an AI creator as one where content "is generated by artificial intelligence," including chat messages and sometimes voice.

Every AI creator account "goes through the same verification process as human creators," and by law carries "an AI tag displayed in their profile bio."

The tag confirms the account type. It does not confirm who, or what, is answering your messages. Fanvue's definition lists chat messages and "sometimes voice" among the things AI may generate, without saying which accounts use either.

Nobody outside Fanvue can verify, from the label alone, whether a given creator's chat replies are written by a person. That distinction is not documented anywhere in the public help centre.

Refunds: once you see the AI tag, the purchase stands

"Subscribing to an AI creator is a purchase of access to their content, and our standard non-refundable policy applies," Fanvue's help centre states.

If the AI tag was visible at the time of subscription, "we are unable to issue a refund on the basis that the creator is AI," the same article says.

Fans are required to check a creator's bio before subscribing. If you suspect an unlabelled account is actually AI, report it to Fanvue support by email with the creator's username.

Fanvue's general terms, updated 23 July 2026, restate a no-refund policy: chargebacks "are not permitted," with limited exemptions "whereby the Service provided is not as described," and refunds "granted at our discretion."

The help centre cites those rules as sections 10.3 and 3.12. The live terms page did not show those sub-numbers on 29 August 2026, so treat the numbering as the help centre's, and the wording as the terms' own.

OnlyFans' own terms, read 29 August 2026, require AI content captioned "as AI Generated Content" with a signifier such as #ai or #AIGenerated, but no separate AI account category appears in that text.

KYC for AI creators: Fanvue verifies the human behind the persona

KYC is Fanvue's identity verification step, and AI creators do not skip it.

"Even if you are not using your face in the content, we will need an image of your valid, in-date, government-issued international ID or passport, and a selfie to verify your match," the help centre article dated 8 May 2026 states.

The same article adds: "This information will not be shared on your profile."

"By law, we require identity documents and permission from all individuals featured in content uploaded to Fanvue.com," the same article states, adding that this covers deepfakes.

Fanvue is explicit that "adding an AI face is not enough to prove that you have been given permission."

Fanvue's requirement for featuring any other real person is consent on file.

That person either opens a Fanvue account, passes KYC and is tagged in every post including DMs, or a Model Release Form, a signed consent document plus their ID and dated photos, goes to Fanvue.

Real body, AI face: why that counts as a real model

Fanvue's help centre, dated 25 August 2025, defines AI-Generated Models as "virtual characters or avatars created using artificial intelligence." That definition excludes deepfakes and face-swaps entirely.

"If your model's body is of a real person, even if the face is AI, this model is classed as a real model and must be verified as such," the help centre says.

A creator running an AI-Generated Model must disclose it in the bio and "cannot tell fans that you are a real person in posts and chats." Fanvue frames this as a legal requirement.

Deepfake and face-swap content is allowed, but "you MUST verify the real model behind the AI."

How many AI accounts one verified identity can run

Verified creators can add accounts from Settings > Account > Linked Accounts without repeating identity verification, provided KYC is approved, at least one withdrawal has succeeded, and no warnings are active.

At creation you pick a creator type, Real or AI, and a content type, 18+ or General. Human creators can hold up to 2 accounts total under one identity; AI creators can hold up to 15.

Each linked account runs independently: its own login, content, earnings, and payouts, visible only to the owner.

How Fanvue AI posts get judged

Every piece of AI content is measured against Fanvue's Reasonable Person's Test, under policy text dated "as of October 3rd" on the AI content help page.

• Disclosure: media must be marked as AI-generated, "clear and prominent," in the bio, the caption, or as a watermark.
• Moderation: judged by "three or more members of Fanvue's moderation team"; repeated failures may mean permanent suspension.
• Age and appearance: AI media must not depict a real person other than the account owner, or resemble anyone under 18; "prompt text cannot be used to 'prove' the age of AI-generated content."
• Consequences: a warning, content removal, earnings deduction, suspension, or a permanent ban.

Fanvue's blog post "AI Content Guidelines," dated 22 July 2025, bans underage role-play even when the creator is 18+, ruling out "just turned 18" captions, baby-face filters, and classroom role-play.

Fanvue says those rules protect creators from criminal liability under UK, US, EU, and Canadian law.

The general terms, updated 23 July 2026, describe moderation as automated tools plus manual human review, with Fanvue "retaining responsibility for moderating all AI-generated Content before it is made available on the Platform, as the legal publisher and host."

Fanvue's own AI tools, and the numbers nobody can give you

Three built-in tools sit on the creator side: AI Creator Coach, a pinned chat with tips on monetising, content ideas, and well-being.

AI Messaging rewrites a draft message on NSFW accounts after you click Rewrite. AI Analytics reports fan location, an earnings graph, and a percentile ranking against all creators worldwide.

On fanvue.com's homepage, 29 August 2026, the nav item "Fanvue AI" appears alongside a banner for the "AI Personality of the Year Awards 2026" and its $90K prize pool, yet the link itself, /pages/fanvue-ai, returned 404 that day, as did /fanvue-ai typed directly.

That same homepage calls Fanvue "the No1 AI monetisation platform for creators" and claims it is "Powering over $500m in creator payouts," unverified Fanvue claims.

For the search term fanvue ai, the top Google result on 29 August 2026 was the help centre's "How do I know if a creator is AI?" article.

Position 2 was a Reddit r/passive_income post, "People are making money on Fanvue using AI-generated...", with sitelinks including "Ai Model BS" and "Nobody is talking about AI influencers on Fanvue."

A separate thread asks "can you make money on fanvue with AI? $20k later here's the real answer," and a BlackHatWorld thread asks "Anyone running FANVUE AI MODEL + AI Chatbot?"

Those are the questions people bring to this search, and titles are all this page can cite from them.

No source behind this page contains an actual earnings figure for AI creators, and the $20k in that title is an unverified headline claim.

What separates a Fanvue AI creator from an AI account anywhere else online is the verified human required behind the account, and the disclosure a fan can read before paying.
