AI Candy: What the Platform Is and How It Works
Type ai candy into a search box and you are almost certainly looking for Candy.ai, the AI companion app.
It is not the only thing that answers to the name. Two separate advertising production companies trade as AiCandy, and a set of look-alike domains use the branding without being the product.
Candy.ai itself is a private AI companion app run out of Malta, sold as a single Premium tier that starts at $3.99 a month on the annual plan.
Three companies answer to the name
Candy.ai is the AI girlfriend and companion app, and it is what the search volume is chasing. The operator is EverAI Limited, company number C107181, registered in Santa Venera, Malta.
Card charges appear as EverAI rather than Candy, which the subscription page states directly.
AiCandy at aicandy.be is a Belgian video production agency making commercials with AI alongside conventional filmmaking. Nothing adult about it.
AiCandy at aicandy.com.au is a separate Australian AI film production company. Same name, different continent, also unrelated to the companion app.
Then the look-alikes. candyai.org runs Candy AI branding and calls EverAI its parent company, but claims "50k+ Users" where candy.ai claims 50 million, and its footer reads "©2025; CANDY AI. All Rights reversed."
Before you enter card details anywhere, check the domain is candy.ai and that the statement descriptor is EverAI.
What Candy.ai actually does
The product opens on a character grid split into Girls, Anime and Guys, with a Create Character builder for making your own.
Chat is the core. Around it sit generated images, generated video, voice messages, an episodic section called Candy Shorts, and a Live Action mode.
Chat is fully supported in five languages: English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese. Eight more, including Italian, Dutch, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese, get a translated interface but not translated chat.
One structural detail matters more than any single feature. Users cannot upload or share content on Candy.ai, which its own Blocked Content Policy states in its opening paragraph.
That makes it a private generation tool, not a creator platform. Nobody is building a subscriber income there.
If that is what you actually came for, an OnlyFans alternative is a different category of product entirely.
What it costs, checked today
Candy.ai sells one Premium tier at four durations. Verified on the live subscription page on 17 August 2026:
- 1 month: $13.99
- 3 months: $8.99 per month, billed as $26.97
- 12 months: $3.99 per month, billed as $47.88
Two shorter cycles appear only after you open the payment method step: $9.79 every two weeks, and $5.60 weekly. Neither shows on the plan cards.
The 70% discount banner on the annual plan was running on both days I checked, 16 and 17 August, which makes it closer to the standing price than a sale.
Premium lists six benefits: create your own AI girlfriends, generate 18+ videos, generate 18+ images, full Live Action experience, unlimited text messages, and 100 tokens per month.
What the page does not publish is the token cost of a single image or video. Without that, 100 tokens is not a quantity you can plan around.

What the policies forbid
Candy.ai splits its rules across eleven documents rather than one terms page. Two of them decide what you can generate.
The Blocked Content Policy, revised 30 July 2026, lists eight prohibited categories. Three matter before you prompt anything.
Generating content resembling minors is banned outright and flagged for review. Impersonating real people or celebrities is prohibited. Non-consensual intimate imagery and "images intended to resemble actual persons (deepfakes)" carry a stated zero-tolerance policy.
That last one is not only house rules. Generating sexual imagery of a real person without their consent is illegal in a growing number of jurisdictions.
The policy also puts the liability on you. The user is "solely responsible for the output generated by the AI Companions through your input".
The Community Guidelines, revised 6 March 2026, add a rule most competitors leave out. You must not remove or tamper with metadata, provenance signals or marks indicating that content is AI-generated.
The cams section and the 2257 notice disagree
Candy.ai's 18 U.S.C. 2257 exemption notice, revised 14 February 2025, is unambiguous. Every piece of content on the service is "exclusively generated through artificial intelligence", no real human beings are involved in creating it, so the federal record-keeping law does not apply.
The homepage today carries a section called Join Live Candy Cams, linking to candy.ai/cams. Seven profiles were showing LIVE badges when I loaded it.
That page carries no record-keeping notice and does not state whether the streams are human performers or AI output. I could not establish which from the public pages, and the exemption notice predates the section by roughly eighteen months.
If that distinction matters to you, and there are situations where it legally does, ask support before subscribing rather than treating the exemption page as current.
Before you subscribe
Three checks in the free account are worth the ten minutes.
See whether the existing character grid holds anyone you actually want to talk to, because building your own is listed as a Premium benefit.
Confirm the language you want is one of the five with chat support rather than one of the eight with interface only.
And settle the term before you pay. The advertised $3.99 exists only at $47.88 up front, and while the page offers cancellation at any time in settings, it says nothing about refunding the remainder of a term.
